چکیده

In many applications, the heat flux at surface is known instead of temperature. addition, in some like vacuum drying or high altitude flights, pressure below atmospheric pressure, so rarefaction effects become important, and therefore, Navier-Stokes-Fourier equations fail to predict gas thermal behavior. this paper, a constant boundary condition developed implemented frame Shakhov model kinetic equation, with possibility simulate diffuse-specular reflexion molecules from surface. The technique for simulation transfer two concentric cylinders configuration, similar used nuclear fuel canisters. numerical results obtained using approach are compared experimental data through rarefied between cylinders.

Nanofluid forced convection through a microtube with constant heat flux and slip boundary

Given the need to increase the efficiency of heat transfer in thermal systems, especially systems using nanofluids in microscale and nanoscale heat transfer equipment ideas to improve their performance is very good.In present study, the flow and heat transfer of Water-Cu nanofluid in micro-tube with slip regime with constant wall heat flux numerically simulated with low Reynolds numbers. CuO/water Nanofluid Convective Heat Transfer Through Square Duct Under Uniform Heat Flux

Sometimes the need for non-circular ducts arises in many heat transfer applications because of lower pressure drop of non-circular cross section such as square duct compared to circular tube, particularly in compact heat. But square cross section has poor heat transfer performance and it is expected that using a nanofluid as a new heat transfer media may improve the heat transfer performance of...

Slip Flow Heat Transfer in Annular Microchannels With Constant Heat Flux

Microscale fluid dynamics has received intensive interest due to the emergence of microelectromechanical systems technology. When the mean free path of the gas is comparable to the channel’s characteristic dimension, the continuum assumption is no longer valid and velocity slip and temperature jump may occur at the duct walls. Slip flow heat transfer in annular microchannels has been examined. ...

Heat Transfer on a Hypersonic Sphere with Diffuse Rarefied-gas Injection

The interaction of a diffusing outgas flow from a sphere nose opposing a hypersonic free stream is studied numerically by the direct simulation MonteCarlo technique under the transitional rarefied-gas-flow regime conditions at Knudsen numbers from 0.016 to 1.5 and blowing factors from 0.15 to 1.5. Strong influences of the blowing factor (the ratio of outgas mass flux to upstream mass flux) and ...

Inverse Estimation of Boundary Heat Flux for Heat Conduction Model

Mathematical model of direct and inverse problems is developed for the flat plate probe which is subjected to timedependent heat flux at one end, while the other end is kept insulated. The direct solution, which is concerned with determination of the temperature distribution in the probe, is developed using an approach based on the method of variation of parameters. The direct solution is used ...
